Kath Ellis is a good mate from Australia. We met at Ranwick Tafe on a woodwork course for women and double whammy, I went to work one morning and she turned out to be my kitchen hand at Badde Manors café. We always had a good laugh together and went on working on enormous art projects.
Kath’s work has excelled. She was trained as a jeweller and graphic designer but specialised in making huge wire sculptures. She teaches jewellery and also makes these delightful lamps.
