New Eco stop junk mail stamper
Stop junk mail has brought out a new "Stamper"! The stamper prints "Return to Sender" on envelopes that get sent to you from junk mailing companies.
I use to live in a block of 3 flats and the amount of junk mail that was delivered made it hard to open the front door. This stamper is perfect for people who live in flats.
Estate agents would benefit from a having a stamper to when they get piles of mail from a previous tenants.
Businesses would also gain from having a stamper when they get junk mail from other businesses.
The stamper is made from recycled bottles. The ink pad is replaceable too.
The stop junk mail campaign is a non-profit one stop shop for information about how to cut down on your junk mail. I help out with the campaign as I am very keen on saving trees and there Eco system.

No cold calling stickers
This week Stop junk mail has released new "No Cold Calling" Stickers. To stop all the people who come to the house and knock at the door to invade your private space. My door knocker is really loud so when some one knocks at it, I jump out of my seat. Working from home and painting detailed pictures, the knock has a knock on effect and can ruin a weeks work.
The Sticker has had an amazing effect and stopped 99 percent of people who knock at the door apart from the odd one that slips through the net to claim that knocking at my door to talk about religion is not cold calling, which I reassure them it is.
I know what your thinking now it is the phone cold callers, that ring at 4.30pm everyday. This can be stopped too. The first thing is to ring your phone provider. Be warned they do that press 1 for this and 2 for that. Don't worry about that, just press any number and you will get through to someone who can take your name, number and address out of the phone directory. The paper phone directory's seem to end up overseas and in the hands of people who go through the numbers one by one to phone harass you and everyone in the directory. They usually use old directories so its best to opt out and become and ex-directory as soon as possible.
Then the next step is to call phone provider and get them to block all "With held numbers". Which will stop all the people from overseas trying to cold call you by phone. It is a good idea to let your friends know this, if they call you from there work place, which might have a with held number. This service costs extra on the bill by some phone providers.

Chauncy Maples hospital ship fundraising

The stop junk mail campaign is also fundraising for charity's. Last year raising money for SOS children's villages. A charity that does not produce junk mail and just sends the cash straight to cause. I have friends in Java that help out at the SOS children's villages in Java and they are children's villages where orphan children live together. They need money for food, health housing and clothes.
Currently Stop junk mail is raising cash for the Chauncy Maples hospital ship restoration, on lake Malawi, Monkey Bay in Africa, also this charity does not produce junk mail. My Auntie Janie Hampton's project she has been doing for a few years and the ship is very near completion. Once the ship is completed, it will move around the lake visiting villages and helping people with little or no access to health care. One million pounds is still needed for this project. If you buy No Junk Mail signs from the Stop junk mail website we will give 10 per cent of profits to help finish the restoration of the ship.
